Ever since FOPP closed I’ve been really trying to spend my money locally, and avoid using webstores. In the same way that I always try to use local small shops for veg n meat rather than Asdescobury’s. After all If you don’t use it, you’re gonna lost it. It would be a tragedy if we cannot buy locally in a few years. Like the passing of the milkman, local shops are at risk. However, (rant over) this shop does look pretty good, and I’m gonna give it a go for my next few record purchases. Good luck to them!

As a Linux user, a Mac user, a BBC license payer and a member of the British public I really portest at being shut out from the BBC. If the BBC are not for the British public, then just who are they for?

Defective by Design organised a protest of the BBC against their slimy alliance with Microsoft. As a Apple user, A Linux user, a BBC license fee tax payer, and a member of the British Public I really protest at being shut out by the BBC. If the BBC is not for the British Public then who is it for? Bill Gates?

Here’s a great rant/roundup of a top ten financial swindles the British Public has to endure on the Motley Fool. A pretty good financial advice website. Quite entertainly written and mostly very true. The hospital parking charges and the Cinema foor prices are my pet two!
.Mac changes
I read a few blog posts yesterday that the 2 hours of downtime planned by Apple for .Mac hints at some new changes. Well I hope so. It may be useful, but it could be better for the price. Especially in calender synching! Well I start my MacbookP this morning to the following warning dialogue.
